Café Supervisor
£22,000 per annum
1.0 FTE (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
08:00 – 15:30 Monday
08:00 – 16:00 Tuesday & Wednesday
08:00 – 20:00 Thursday
08:30 – 12:30 Friday
We wish to appoint an experienced Café Supervisor to work within our catering team across both sites of the college campus on Worting Road.
Main duties include ordering, preparing and cooking food for staff, nursery and students. The post holder will deputise for the Chef Manager as required and supervising a small team of catering assistants.
You will have excellent chef skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a commercial catering establishment with previous experience of working with the general public. Good verbal communication skills are essential, along with due diligence in following appropriate cash handling procedures and food standards for allergies.
The successful applicant will need to hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate (within 4 weeks of starting) or equivalent. Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage.
