At Kedleston Group, our vision is simple, every provision we operate will be recognised as ‘outstanding’ in every way. We will never be the biggest, but we will lead, and others will follow.
About the role:
As a Night Care Worker at Wings School Cumbria, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will remain awake throughout the night whilst supervising the home and ensuring the safety of our young people. You will check that all of our children and young people are present within the home and will assist with any child who may be unwell, upset or just wants to talk - therefore you will be a great listener, and ready to lend an ear as and when needed.
Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a children’s home setting, is passionate about supporting young people and holds, or is working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. If you don’t have the experience or qualifications yet, but share our commitment to developing confident and capable young people and making a difference to their lives by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions, we would love to hear from you. We will fund your level 3 qualification and provide the support you need to successfully achieve it. If you achieve it within 12 months, you’ll also get a £1000 bonus!
