City College, Southampton is looking for an inspirational, experienced associate teacher to join its Health and Social Care and Early Years team. We are seeking to recruit a professional who is committed to contributing to an outstanding student experience in an ambitious department. Applicants must be able to teach across a range of different programmes and levels and ideally the candidate will have experience of teaching Health and Social Care and Early Years to Level 1 and 2 learners
Ideally, you should hold a minimum level 3 and relevant experience, both in a related area. You will also possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert.Ed. DET) and be familiar with the current BTEC curricula. We encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and in theory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.
