An exciting appointment has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join a large and successful A level Biology department.
Working closely with the team to deliver AS and A level Biology, candidates should possess a suitable biology degree and ideally have experience of teaching A level Biology.
Based at the Gorseinon Campus the successful candidate will also possess a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. Some GCSE Biology teaching may also be required.
A confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students. You will have excellent classroom administration skills and be prepared to work flexibly to cover classes over at least 4 days per week.
Ensuring excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College and you will be expected to make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this highly successful subject area.
As part of the Maths and Science department you will also be required to deliver the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification to learners in the area.
Hours available: part-time with 22.2 hours per week. The pro-rata salary is £12,903.60 - £25,395 per annum.
