Commercial Finance Officer

Grade 6, point 14-19, depending on experience, £23,484 - £25,927

Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training is seeking to appoint a Commercial Finance Officer, full-time, 37 hours per week. To start as soon as possible.

Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training is a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) provider committed to training the next generation of outstanding teachers. 

The Commercial Finance Officer will be working closely with the Director of Operations and The Constellation Trust’s Finance Department to provide a link between Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training and the Finance Department. Main duties will include the preparation of financial returns, ordering and invoicing, as well as the administration of the subject knowledge enhancement courses which will include the monitoring and payment of SKE bursaries in liaison with the Finance Department.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a financial management setting in an education establishment. Applicants should be proactive, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and administrative abilities. The post holder will be based at Bricknell Primary School, but is required, on occasion, to travel to other partner schools and therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
