The Built Environment at Gower College is expanding, and within the aspiring department we have a clear vision of delivering and inspiring. Do you have experience in this area? or are you looking for a new exciting opportunity? If yes, there is an exciting opportunity for you at Gower College.
Your role will be to provide day to day workshop activities across the range of trades at our Jubilee Court Campus. These trades include: carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating and brickwork. You will work closely with the delivery staff to provide support with a range of courses, from school provision through to full time courses and apprenticeships.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
work with the delivery team to plan, produce and prepare materials needed practical sessions in the workshop
monitor material usage levels and informing the Learning Area Manager of any order requirements.
track and monitor tool usage within the department and informing the Learning Area Manager of any order requirements or servicing of machines.
The successful candidate must go through First Responder training and undertake the duties. Upon completion of training, you will receive an additional £50 per month.
