Education Health Care Plan Coordinator. Full Time 37 hours per week. Permanent. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed, highly motivated individual to join our Student Services Team.  

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating all Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes across the college. You will develop and maintain systems to ensure EHCP consults and reviews are processed in line with statutory duties contained within the SEND Code of Practice. You will act as the main contact internally and with external stakeholders for matters relating to EHCPs consults and reviews in Mainstream and Supported Learning. You will supervise administrative support including work allocation and direction.  

You will support Additional Learning Support Co-ordinators and Programme Area Managers to conduct EHCP annual reviews and supervise their administration. You will support the Director of Student Services and Marketing with the management of the high-cost budget, working with Curriculum and Student Services staff to ensure high needs claims are fully completed, in a timely manner.   

You will need to work well as part of a wider team and the ability to work sensitively with a diverse range of young people with additional needs and their families is essential. You will have in-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and an understanding of the legal responsibilities and compliance expected regarding EHCPs and high needs funding. 

The successful candidate will be educated to level 2 minimum in Maths and English have a relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent experience of working in the education sector. You will also be a confident user of IT systems, have good organisation and administration abilities and be able to maintain accurate records and work with minimal supervision.
