Examinations Team Leader

1.0 FTE (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

£28,649 to £31,126 per annum

We are looking to recruit an Examinations & Assessments Team Leader to take responsibility for the management and operation of the college’s examination and registration provision. Leading a friendly team of Examinations Administrators and part-time Invigilators you will ensure the smooth operation of the service and control the Examinations budget. This will include both written and on-line examinations taking place at the college and off-site in the workplace. You will be expected to liaise closely with Awarding Bodies to ensure that regulations are met and that the college is compliant at all times, and with the curriculum teams to provide a great exam experience for our learners. You will also be responsible for the accurate and timely recording of examination results.

To be successful in this role you will have had at least 2 years management experience and previous experience of working with Awarding Bodies preferably within an Examinations Department in an FE environment. You should be well organised, able to meet deadlines and have an eye for detail to ensure high levels of data accuracy. Good IT and communication skills are essential as well as a flexible approach and an ability to prioritise the work of the department.
