The purpose of the post is:
To support the Head of Finance in the day-to-day running of all aspects of the financial accounting function of the College.
To support the Head of Finance to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial information and meet all regulatory reporting requirements.
To help manage month-end procedures and prepare the College’s monthly management accounts, year-end accounts and financial reporting.
To ensure that all staff are paid correctly and on time, that creditors receive payment for goods or services on a timely basis and in line with the agreed terms of business, and that all income due to the College is collected in a timely manner.
To support the Head of Finance in ensuring effective management of the College’s cash resources and annual budget of over £20m.
