GCSE Maths Lecturer

Permanent | Various hours available

£30,276 to £38,812 per annum **dependent on qualifications and experience**

Do you have the skills and expertise to successfully develop the GCSE Maths skills of young people?

We are seeking a highly experienced Maths tutor to join our team of staff who deliver GCSE Maths across college. The main responsibility of the role is to deliver the GCSE Maths course and enable your learners to succeed. The successful candidate may also be required to teach Functional Skills.

You will:

• Have experience of working with young people aged 16-18 (essential)

• Have the ability to deliver the curriculum creatively

• Have excellent organisational skills

• Be able to work independently across the college

• Be flexible and approachable

Experience of teaching GCSE Maths is desirable. Ideally you will hold a teaching qualification but the successful candidate must have a minimum level 3 qualification in Maths, and/or it is desirable for you to possess a Level 5 subject specialist qualification or a Maths degree.

You will be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.
