We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic head of history and politics to lead the department in delivering a challenging and engaging academic enrichment programme that stimulates and engages pupils of all ages and abilities.

The history and politics department is established with a team of enthusiastic teachers and has achieved consistently good results at both GCSE and A level.

We welcome applications from teachers with curriculum leadership experience and also those aspiring leaders.

The successful candidate will possess a good honours degree and a post graduate teacher qualification. With strong subject knowledge, you will be an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who encourages all pupils to develop to their maximum potential.

A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school is essential.

In return you can expect all the benefits of a thriving independent school: a competitive and progressive salary, pension, professional development, laptop, cycle scheme, lunches in term time and on-site parking.
