Kingsbury Green Academy, judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in every category when inspected in April 2022, is part of the successful Ascend Learning Trust. We are an ambitious, forward thinking 11-18 years Academy situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Calne in Wiltshire.

We are looking for a calm and hard-working individual to engage positively with students in our Internal Exclusion room, embedding school values, attitudes and to promote high levels of achievement and behaviour. You will maintain appropriate standards of pupil behaviour in accordance with Academy policy. Additionally, you will ensure that the Internal Exclusion Room procedures are adhered to, and the environment is maintained to a good standard.

Enthusiasm and a strong presence are essential and ideally candidates should have experience of working with young people, either in a pastoral capacity e.g., as a TA or Mentor or in a teaching/tutoring capacity. There will be a strong emphasis on restorative work and positive re-engagement with the students to enable them to maximise their learning in school. Extensive support and training will be offered.

If you feel that this position is of interest and you have the right experience, skills and are ready for fresh challenges, with the ambition to make a real impact, then we’d like to hear from you.
