The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham, ‘Collyer’s’, is one of the leading sixth form colleges in the country and the top state provider of A Levels in West Sussex. The college has an attractive campus and classrooms are well resourced, with ambitious plans for growth in the coming years. There is a collegiate and professional ethos amongst staff and students within which excellent teaching and learning can flourish.

The College provides education for over 2200 young people in the age range 16-19. Collyer’s has a very successful and consistent record in external examinations. In 2022 the A level high grade rate (A*-B) was 71%. Results across our other course types such as vocational, technical, transition and GCSE are equally strong.

Collyer’s also runs Adult Education and Skills courses in the evenings with over 300 students studying a range of professional and recreational adult learning courses, ranging from art to accounting.

We are looking to appoint an Information Services Manager to lead the registry team as part of MIS (Management Information Services) within the college.

The post holder will

  • Manage the effective collection and maintenance of student records from initial application through enrolment, on programme, completion and leaving
  • Produce the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) and Funding Claims for submission to the Skills Funding Agency and the Education Funding Agency and submit via the Hub
  • Produce data for a range of other external organisations
  • Obtain data from national websites and portals
  • Keep up to date with funding, ILR, audit and other agency requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ESFA funding rules with evidence of strong organisational skills and working to deadlines. They will be confident in using databases, collating data and creating management reports.
