We are looking to appoint a strong, enthusiastic, committed and creative KS1 LSA . Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly taking direction from the Class teacher and SENCo in adapting and planning activities to take our children's learning forward. The Children's needs are at the core of Pine Ridge & Lorraine Federation's ethos and successful candidates will be required to support the emotional, social and academic development of the young people they work with.


Led by an executive leadership team, Pine Ridge & Lorraine Federation offers an exceptional provision for children aged 2-7 years. We work closely with the Trust within the Teaching School, supporting Teacher Training, School-to-School support with SLE and LLE brokering and leading CPD across schools. We benefit from sharing outstanding resources, CPD and practise across a wide range of GLF schools.


We are looking for someone to;

  • assist in preparing the classroom-learning environment
  • assist in planning activities and preparing materials to help children access the curriculum
  • lead and support activities, indoors and outdoors to meet the specific needs of children
  • assist in monitoring children's progress, assessing achievement and recording results and observations, sharing outcomes with the class teacher
  • be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, including working closely with outside agencies
  • relate exceptionally well with children and to go that extra mile to help them achieve

Salary: £18,000 - £21,100

Pro Rata: £14,195 - £16,640

Hours of work: 33 hrs per week Term Time Only (39 Weeks)

Working Routine: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm  (1 hr fortnightly training on Wednesdays)
