1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - EYFS and KS1
Full time: 32.5 hours per week including 5 INSET days
Pay grade and Salary E3 £15,028.67 - £15,328.44 per annum pro rata with excellent benefits package.
You will work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning and support high quality teaching and learning across all subjects. You will help to create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge. You will work with the school community to uphold our trust and school values.
You need to be proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging pupils, developing their desire to learn. You will help to inspire them to be confident and independent. You will also need to be calm, patient, sensitive and able to comfort children when they’re upset.
This role will require you to carry out both 1:1 and a small group support work. You should have previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other high level needs such as global delay and have experience of working with children who have Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We would like you to have previous experience of delivering speech & language/physiotherapy/occupational therapy programmes.
