Learning Technologist Apprentices
Full-time (FTE 1.0 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
1st year £11,528 per annum| 2nd year £13,301 per annum
Want to join a team of digital specialists and kick-start your career in training and support? We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice who can work alongside our outstanding teachers, delivering technical support.
Your role will be to develop teaching, learning and assessment practices that align with the college’s Digital Strategy and team manifesto, allowing you to help teachers streamline their workflow and innovate their lessons. You will work as part of the digital team to support all staff at BCoT, other educational institutions and local and national business partners and work to transform digital competency in education.
As the Learning Technologist Apprentice you will use your emotional intelligence to provide patient and relevant group, individual and online training on digital tools. You will use design thinking practices to produce learning assets for programmes of study alongside our subject specialist teaching staff.
You will study towards a level 3 apprentice standard in either of:
Customer Service Specialist
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• English and Maths skills (GCSE Level 4)
• High levels of emotional intelligence, empathy and compassion
• Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deadlines
• Experience in using digital tools and software e.g. photography, videography, editing tools, graphic design, web development, spreadsheets, VR, AR, MR, 360 media etc would be desirable
