Cambridge Regional College are recruiting ESOL/EFL lecturers to join our International Department at our Huntingdon Campus.

We are looking for ESOL/EFL lecturers to teach on a variable hours basis, both during the day and in the evening on courses which may be delivered face-to-face or online.

You will have a CELTA (or equivalent) and experience of teaching in an ESOL context.  Experience of both face-to-face and online delivery will be advantageous. You should also be confident in supporting students with their personal development, including helping them to develop employability skills, an understanding of health and safety, accessing welfare support services within the college and assist students with their study skills.

We are looking for people who can work in a team and are able and willing to develop courses based on the students that they are teaching and delivering to based on different student group profiles and our business development strategy.

The College is committed to the full development of its students and the successful candidate will be able to develop both academic and personal skills in their students as well as give them a better understanding of life in the UK (including employability). A measure of digital skills will be expected of the successful candidate, or a willingness to learn fast, as we use Microsoft Teams as part of our teaching.

We operate a College-wide system of classroom observations and support teachers in their CPD.

All positions are subject to the usual pre-employment checks, including DBS and overseas police checks if you have worked abroad in the last 5 years.

Cambridge Regional College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore, we expect all workers and employees to share this commitment.

The College reserves the right to fill this vacancy ahead of the closing date if a suitable candidate is found.
