Are you looking for a rewarding job within the education sector? We are looking for Lecturer in Health and Social Care and Childcare to join Buckinghamshire College Group, based at our Wycombe Campus. Working hours are 28 hours per week / 52 weeks per year.

As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care and Childcare you will be educating and engaging our students, preparing them for careers in a variety of work-related areas such as supporting someone during palliative care or helping families and children, the skills deliver in our Health and Social Care Courses will give students the skills and knowledge to achieve success in this sector.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and develop highly effective teaching in subjects areas required
  • Contribute to the colleges pursuit of excellence by delivering high quality teaching

Taking Teaching Further

The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation’s Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.

As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn ‘on the job’. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
