HHELC is a four-site school based in Nottingham, which caters for pupils and young people with a range of medical, emotional or mental health needs. Each site works with a unique cohort of young people with differing experiences and needs.

Our sites are located at The Children’s Hospital School, The Lookout Education Centre, Sherwood Education Centre and Nottingham Education Sanctuary Team, currently located at College Street (NEST).

We are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Administrator to join our team. The post is for 37 hours per week, term time only. You will be based at our NEST provision, and may be required to support across our other provisions as and when required. Previous experience in a school office and knowledge of Sims is desirable and exceptional administrative and IT skills are essential. You will be part of a team who play a key role in providing first class support and administrative services.

We are looking for someone

  • with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with staff, pupils, parents and visitors tactfully and confidentially
  • with the ability to work using own initiative, is adaptable, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • who can comply with the appropriate Government, Local Authority (LA) and the school policies, procedures and systems
  • who is experienced in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and ideally knowledge of SIMS
