Vacancy: School Admissions and Attendance Officer

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week for 39.4 weeks per year (term-time, 5 inset days and an additional 2 days during school holidays as required)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30am to 4:00pm (including a unpaid 30 minute lunchbreak)

Salary Range: PS4 (points 1-6) full-time equivalent £20,722 - £22,716 per annum

Actual Annual Salary: PS4 point 1, £17,509 per annum

We are looking to appoint a friendly and organised Admissions and Attendance Officer.

As a core member of the busy school office team, your role is to effectively manage the admissions, leaver and attendance cycle of our students. Additionally, you will support our front office team by responding to and answering phone calls, and emails and welcoming visitors to the school.

  • is able to multi-task, prioritise own workload and work effectively in a busy environment
  • has good computer skills and a knowledge of Microsoft packages with the ability to quickly take on board new software packages
  • will contribute to the G.O.L.D. vision and aims of the school
  • previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
