School Links and Transition Officer

Term Time 40 weeks a year

Up to £23,708 p.a (actual salary for 40 weeks for as full academic year)

We are looking to appoint a School Links and Transition Officer to work within our Learning Support/Foundation Learning Faculty. You will enjoy working with young people many of whom will be experiencing barriers to their learning. You will meet with a broad variety of people including staff, students’ parents, schools and other stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner. You will be good at problem solving and finding solutions for young people who wish to study at College. A background of working with young people with special needs would be an advantage.

Part of this job role involves attending meetings and promoting the College at school and college events. Experience of working in a busy environment, working with speed, accuracy and attention to detail, using your own initiative, plus excellent customer service skills and team work are essential for both of this post.

The post is for 40 weeks. The College campus is set in 7 acres of green belt in a peaceful setting. The College has excellent transport links and is set in a location convenient to London and the South East and offers a large free on-site car park.

This post is a Nescot Enterprise Ltd post which has different terms and conditions to Nescot College
