About the Opportunity

Do you have a hands-on approach to your work and enjoy a challenge? If so, please read on and apply!

As a dependable member of our Estates/Facilities team, you will be available (sometimes at short notice) to assist in keeping the high standard of cleanliness and maintenance within the school premises, whilst at the same time ensuring a safe learning environment for our students.

We require someone who can keep up the maintenance and security for the school, and be responsible for the premises outside of normal working hours in regards to locking/unlocking where the Site Manager is unavailable and any additional cleaning, setting of security alarm systems and carrying out security checks.

As part of your role you may also undertake a range of re-decoration and minor maintenance work as agreed with your line manager, e.g. minor plumbing, carpentry, light bulb change, unblocking of drains, repairing furniture, litter picks, gritting, sweeping etc.

You will be required to work flexible hours, dependent on the business needs. Our Site Team operates on week days between 06:00 and 18:00, all year round.
