Science Technician

The College is graded Good by Ofsted and is the only education provider in the Liverpool City Region to pilot the delivery of the new ‘revolutionary’ technical qualifications, T Levels.
You will provide technical support to staff and students in the in the area of GCSE and BTEC Science, supervise and demonstrate processes and the use of equipment and issue and maintain equipment and resources.
A science qualification equivalent to HND or equivalent industrial experience is required. You must also be proficient in using appropriate science-related equipment, materials and resources for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and any relevant industry software. At least one year’s professional experience gained in an industrial setting is essential together with a knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to workshop areas, knowledge of COSHH regulations and the ability to assess and manage risks.
