Sessional Lecturer in Pottery
The job purpose is to deliver high quality teaching and academic support that enables learners to reach their potential.
The main duties and responsibilities of the post include the following:
Effective delivery of a teaching programme within the areas of competence of the postholder, paying due regard to developing independent learners, and enabling progression towards successful completion of Beginner, Intermediate/Advanced classes
Develop ways of working in the classroom that are responsive to learners’ needs, monitor and evaluate skills, progress and practice.
To promote and facilitate high levels of attendance, retention and achievement.
Provide accurate and timely information for registers, withdrawals, transfers and learner feedback surveys.
Where applicable, contribute to the assessment of learners, from application through to progression and to inform appropriate placing on course.
