Student Experience Department
FTE 0.3652 – 20 hours per week, 30 weeks per year
£9,724 to £10,629 per annum (Pro rata £26,628 to £29,105)
We are seeking a Specialist Assessor to be part of our Student Experience department to work in collaboration with the learning support, English and Maths team and other teaching staff. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and manage assessments of access arrangements for students across the college, ensuring students have the appropriate arrangements in place if needed.
- Have excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Be able to build excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Be proactive in working with students, parents, college tutors and teams
The successful candidate will be a qualified psychologist registered with the HCPC; or hold a current SpLD Assessment Practicing Certificate; or hold a post-graduate qualification in individual specialist assessment at or equivalent to Level 7. Or be willing to complete the required qualification, supported by BCoT.
