Student Support Assistant

£12.41 per  hour to £13.54 per  hour

The college is closed over the Christmas period so all applications will be viewed when the college opens on 06/01/2025

Please note that we will ask you come in for an observation day, followed by an interview at the end of the day, should you still want to proceed.

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, energetic and dedicated individuals to join the college. The department provides a range of alternative courses to students who require additional support with emotional, social, behavioural and learning needs. Students receive 1:1 support, small class settings, increased differentiation and varied teaching styles. Alongside the curriculum, students are supported to develop techniques for anger management, social skills and impulse control.

This is an exciting opportunity to offer in-class support to learners with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities and differences across the college.

The successful candidate will be educated to Level 3 and have experience in supporting learners with LDD in a classroom environment is desirable.
