Student Support Officer

£28,804.63 - £31,197.88 (including London Weighting Allowance, pro rata of £31,943 - £34,597)

The post involves working closely with Careers Clusters to support students with attendance and behaviour. This will involve 1-1 support, referrals to other agencies and on-going monitoring. You will also be responsible for organising learner representation and for organising specialist tutorials. You will be part of a small team and part of the role will involve supporting and arranging suitable activities for young people.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You must have good IT and numeracy skills, be prepared to work flexibly, have the ability to use your own initiative and work with a minimum of direct supervision. Most importantly you must be able to inspire and motivate young people.
