Salary: Up to £31,482 (pro rata) + £2,000 market supplement depending on skills & experience
City College Southampton is looking for an inspirational, experienced teacher to join its Early Years team. We are seeking to recruit a professional who is committed to contributing to an outstanding student experience in an ambitious department. Applicants must be able to teach across a range of different programmes and levels. This is an exciting time to join our team at the college as we look to expand our range of courses and develop our links with local childcare providers.
Ideally, you should hold a degree (or equivalent) and relevant experience, both in a related area. You will also ideally possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert.Ed. DET) and be familiar with NCFE awarding body requirements. We encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and in theory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an appreciation of the uses of IT are essential, as is a commitment to excellence.
