Teaching and Learning Manager
£40,000 per annum
(37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
We are seeking an Outstanding Teaching and Learning Manager. The main purpose of the role is to provide Outstanding management of Teaching and Learning across the College. The successful applicant will lead by example to train and support delivery and assessing staff, securing Outstanding teaching across the college, continually raising the experience of the learner journey and the standards of outcomes for all learners.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to ensure that teaching and learning across the college, is innovative, of a consistently high standard and best practice is shared. The Teaching and Learning Manager will be able to communicate with staff at all levels, be proactive in supporting new staff with meeting teaching expectations at BCoT, as well as keeping abreast of Ofsted guidelines, new developments and innovations within the field. You will manage the lesson observation process to support staff throughout the academic year. As part of the role there may be some line-management of the team that is responsible for running the Learning Hub.
You will be a Grade 1 Outstanding practitioner, have significant knowledge and experience of teaching, learning and assessment and quality assurance procedures, a minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in the post 16 sector, vocational qualifications and a degree or professional equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
