Established in 1889, and with our roots stretching back even further, Morley College London is one of the country's oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education. At Morley College London, we provide long-term, sustainable and affordable programmes of lifelong learning across three centres – North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo – including 16-19 provision at North Kensington and Chelsea.
Media at the Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries provides learners with contemporary industry-relevant education at a grassroots level, providing them with not only the technical skills required to succeed, but also with the collaborative working, problem solving, and critical thinking skills needed to optimise their success as a creative in the 21st Century.
About the role
The College is looking to appoint a Technician in Media for a fixed term to support the Media programmes in Film, Photography, Games and Esports. This role supports students and staff in a busy specialist environment with the development of technical skills as well as working within the technician team to develop and maintain resources and equipment.
You will have confidence in one or more technical areas associated with Media which may include filmmaking, Adobe creative suite, analogue photography, lighting or Games development.
