Weston College is expanding its training provision in 2022/23, with the opening of the Bristol Training Institute (BTI), a new state-of-the-art training facility in central Bristol.

The BTI sees the expansion of the Weston College-led, West of England Institute of Technology (IoT), which has been recognised nationally as an IoT driving higher level technical skills in the West of England, exceeding its targets through an inclusive approach to offering training, collaborative partnership working with IoT education partners, and its strong links with employers and industry.

This new role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate that is looking for a varied role and enjoys being in a customer facing position. The role will oversee the daily operations of the BTI, with support of cross-college management and faculty teams. The post-holder will be a centre manager, expected to engage with learners, employers, Weston College staff. They will be a dynamic coordinator with strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring the success of the BTI training facility which is an exciting new addition to the skills landscape in the Bristol city region, delivering the vision of the West of England Institute of Technology to drive growth in higher level technical skills for learners in the region.
