Due to the current teacher’s successful progression, we require an enthusiastic and creative primary phase class teacher to join our fantastic school in a Year 1 class, 0.5 job share. The working pattern is currently Wednesday morning or afternoon and all day Thursday and Friday. This a fixed term appointment until 31/08/2023 pending advertisement and an appointment to the permanent role.

Job Purpose
• To take responsibility for a class of mixed ability children, recognising children as individuals.
• To promote the aims of the school through effective teaching and learning.
• Lead and maintain an overview of teaching, standards and ongoing improvement in the above specified subject/s and/or aspects.
• Maintain an overview of teaching, standards and achievement.
• Contribute to the developing ethos of the school by participating in policy review and practice.
