English Co-Ordinator (Apprenticeships)

FTE 0.5437 (22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)

£16,422.45 per annum raising to £17,373.93 in August 2023.

(pro rata of £30,205 per annum rising to £31,955 in August 2023)

You will be responsible for the teaching and delivery of Functional Skills (FS) English to apprentices.

The Apprenticeship progress tutor will plan for, teach and support apprenticeship students to complete their functional skills qualifications. You will achieve this through delivering classroom and workplace based sessions as well as through small group, individual and tailored 121 support either in the college, via remote online learning or at the apprentices place of work.

A key focus will be to work with students who have been identified as being at risk of not passing these qualifications, with the aim of putting in intervention strategies to enable their successful completion.
