1.0 FTE (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
£60,000 per annum
We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced, inspiring leader with high expectations and ambition for students across a range of courses in engineering and automotive. You will be highly motivated with a strong track record of inspiring students to achieve their potential. You will have experience of managing curriculum areas and applications are particularly welcome from engineering specialists who have significant experience of managing engineering departments within an FE environment.
You will play a crucial leadership role in the evolution of our curriculum, the continual improvement in teaching, learning and assessment and the professional development of our staff to raise the achievements of our students.
You will have previous experience of working to deadlines and dealing with changing priorities, as well as a collaborative management style with experience of motivating teams to be engaged and highly perform. You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high levels of accuracy and efficiency and you’ll know how to gather, analyse and interpret information to help you effect change and improvement
