Foundation Learning Facilitator

Pro rata of £27,352 (FTE)

 Full Time/Part Time hours available - Term Time only  (Flexible Open to discussion)


We are looking to recruit a motivated, dynamic and reliable individual in the day-day delivery within our Foundation Learning Department. 

The department provides a range of alternative courses to students who require additional support with emotional, social, behavioural and learning needs. Students receive 1:1 support, small class settings and increased differentiation and varied teaching styles. Alongside the curriculum, students are supported to develop techniques for anger management, social skills and impulse control

The post holder will work within the team to facilitate the delivery of vocational subjects such as personal and social development, employability skills, English and Maths. The post holder will be determined and committed to develop learners with difficulties, disabilities and wide range of other learning needs. They will also be expected to develop physical, emotional, social, intellectual and employability skills for each learner.

Experience with learners with BESD and a understanding of barriers to learning is desirable, as are effective organisation skills and excellent inter personal skills.
