*The higher salary is available to candidates who have a Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years relevant engineering industry experience.*

We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team. Working within our Engineering department, you will be delivering high quality teaching and learning programmes, ensuring that students and employers receive an outstanding level of service. You will play an active role in the continued improvement of course delivery for Engineering courses and will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned lessons for a range of different programmes including FE, HE and Apprenticeships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Mechanical Engineering with excellent industry experience, a relevant Engineering qualification at level 3 or 4/5 with knowledge and skills to teach a range of core BTEC & T levels units and specialist mechanical units including principles, systems, manufacturing technologies, design and fault diagnosis, as well as preferably holding a teaching qualification; You will be highly professional in your approach and deliver outstanding teaching, learning and customer satisfaction at all times to ensure that all learners succeed in their programmes.
Full training and support will be offered for those who currently do not have a teaching qualification** conditions apply. You will also hold or be willing to work towards accredited vocational assessor and internal verifier qualifications.
