Student Support Assistant

£13.38 - £14.72 per hour (Holidays accrued £1.99 - £2.20 per hour) 

(Pro rata £22,006 – £24,177 FTE per annum)

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, energetic and dedicated individuals to join the specialist provision team at BCoT. The department provides a range of alternative courses to students who require additional support with emotional, social, behavioural and learning needs. Students receive 1:1 support, small class settings and increased differentiation and varied teaching styles. Alongside the curriculum, students are supported to develop techniques for anger management, social skills and impulse control.

This is an exciting opportunity to offer in-class support to learners with a range of learning difficulties, disabilities and differences across the college.

The successful candidate will educated to Level 3 and have experience of supporting learners with LDD in a classroom environment is desirable.
